Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham has officially spoken out about the long-rumored fallout between him and his famous family. In a recent Instagram Stories post that landed like a social media bombshell, the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding his 2022 Palm Beach wedding to Nicola Peltz-Beckham. The wedding, which brought together A-list names and two high-profile families, had long been shadowed by whispers of tension. Until now, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola had spoken directly about what allegedly went wrong.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” Brooklyn wrote. “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the 11th hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.” Victoria Beckham, who has made a name for herself in the fashion world post-Spice Girls, was reportedly designing Nicola’s wedding dress—until she suddenly wasn’t. Nicola ultimately walked down the aisle in a custom Valentino couture gown, but whispers of behind-the-scenes drama had already started to swirl.
In the same series of posts, Brooklyn made another startling claim, accusing his mother of hijacking the couple’s first dance. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” the 26-year-old Peltz-Beckham revealed.
In light of Brooklyn’s recent comments, the absence of the Beckham family at the couple’s August vow renewal no longer feels incidental. “We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment,” Brooklyn confessed.
