Thanos Asfis developed an early interest in photography that eventually led him to pursue a degree in the European School of Photography. Continuing his family's tradition, he honed his craft and after graduating, began taking commissions to photograph weddings.
In 2013, Thanos began teaching photography to fellow photographers and organizing national competitions. He soon discovered the true beauty of wedding photography. No longer was it just about the technical side of photography – it was about capturing real emotions and split-seconds in time that could be remembered forever.
Thanos' style is heavily influenced by fashion and lifestyle photography and his aim is to create a story of the special day in the most editorial and elegant way. His approach consists of using specific lenses, angles, lighting techniques, and editing to produce the best visuals of the people in front of his camera. The result is a gallery that looks like something out of a VOGUE magazine.
