Our experience planning our wedding at PUBLIC Hotel was wonderful. The communication from the staff was responsive, detail-oriented, and honest from the start. The venue itself offered a great view, was clean and neutral in decor, with a lovely open-air terrace. Even when they were short-staffed in the office, the team went above and beyond to make our day special. They were upfront about recommending we hire a wedding planner, and provided excellent vendor suggestions. We got married in September, which was a busy time, but they were transparent about managing our expectations. The food was delicious, the view of the city from the Lower East Side was stunning, and having our ceremony on the open-air terrace with perfect weather was magical. We had our cocktail hour in Ava, dinner and dancing in Sophia, and an after-party on the terrace - the space was perfect for our 100 guests. Late night bites of sliders and fries were a huge hit too. Overall, PUBLIC Hotel made our wedding day truly unforgettable.

I cant begin to put into words how perfect my wedding was at Public! Lauren and the team were so patient in the planning stages, they made the process fun instead of overwhelming. We enjoyed every second and went into the weekend with our minds at ease as the level of professionalism was so clearly there! All the the details were brought to life and everyone was willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! The staff is friendly and welcoming and made all of my guests feel at home. The food was perfect! The service was 5 star and overall the team and the venue that is so unbelievably beautiful made my dream wedding a reality and I cant thank everyone enough! I will always think of Public whenever needing a venue for a special event in the future!!

As an Event Producer; willingness to work in team to make my weddings unique, transparency and responsiveness are EVERYTHING! I worked with Lauren and the planning process was smooth, despite being a Destination Wedding all the details and million emails back and forth. She was always there, active, patient and working solutions as a team. The day of the floor team was immaculate! On it, responsive, helpful and gave TOP service to my couple and their guests!
