Under the golden sun and with the Mediterranean Sea stretching endlessly behind them, Liraz and Raz exchanged vows in a wedding that beautifully embodied who they are – sophisticated, graceful, and full of heart. Every detail of their special day was carefully curated to reflect a classic aesthetic, with a modern sensibility that felt both timeless and deeply personal. The color palette – an ethereal blend of white, ivory, and champagne – set the tone for a day steeped in romance and refined beauty. The ceremony unfolded beneath a sky brushed in soft hues, with an aisle lined in delicate white florals, leading to a breathtaking view of the coast. As day turned to night, the celebration transitioned into a candlelit dinner glowing with warmth and intimacy, followed by a dance floor alive with laughter, love, and pure joy. Every moment of Liraz and Raz’s wedding was a reflection of their unique bond: timeless, elegant, and unforgettable.
Our Love Story
The Day We Met
We first met when we were 17—Raz used to get her eyebrows done by my cousin. At the time, I didn’t yet realize I could be attracted to a woman, but something about her deeply intrigued me. Years later, I saw her again, and this time I built up the courage to make a move.
The Proposal
Raz proposed to me at the Four Seasons in Athens, and a little while later, I proposed to her during a shared holiday in Rhodes.
The Engagement Ring
My engagement ring features a 3.5-carat oval-cut diamond with a hidden halo of smaller diamonds beneath. For Raz, who prefers a more minimal and less traditionally feminine style, I designed a delicate diamond band that felt more like her.
Our Wedding
The Vision
I envisioned a classic wedding that would reflect both of our personalities—timeless and elegant in a palette of white, ivory, and champagne. We wanted the transition between different spaces throughout the event to feel intentional and dynamic, to keep guests engaged and surprised.
Our Team of Vendors
Our producers, Oron Ashach and Sivan Marciano, guided us through every step of the planning and made sure the event lived up to our expectations. Our designers, Tal & Maor Finish, brought our vision to life with absolute perfection. Our beauty team included Osher Mahpuda, Moshe Ben Adi, and Idan Bakshi. My dresses were custom-made by Thai Biton, and Raz’s suit was from DARE. Our DJs were Nitzan Meiri, Erez Shitrit, and Niv Edri—and Raz herself, who is also a DJ, got up to perform as well! Our photographers were Adi Elbaz and Kobi Baruch.
The Ceremony
Our ceremony was led by Assif Elkayam, who wrote and told our love story so beautifully that there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. We also read personal vows to each other—it was emotional and unforgettable.
The Cocktail Hour
The cocktail hour began with a champagne wall and live saxophone accompanied by a DJ. To enter the main space, guests walked through a white tent that opened into a room filled with candles and golden candleholders.
The Reception
The reception opened with a trumpet performance welcoming us in, and later in the evening, Raz surprised everyone with an energetic darbuka (drum) show.
The Special Touches
I chose not to wear a traditional white dress for the ceremony. Instead, I wore a champagne-toned gown—it felt refreshing and unique, and very “me.”
Our Favorite Moment
Our first look. We hadn’t seen each other for a whole week leading up to the wedding, so when we finally met, it was incredibly emotional and moving.
Our Style
The Bridal Looks
My makeup was classic—clean, bronzed, a true “no-makeup” makeup look with just a hint of eyeliner. My hair was styled in a sleek low bun with no parting. The first dress was straight out of a fairytale: a deep corset and stunning champagne tone that felt like pure elegance.
The second dress was more daring—a lace bodysuit with a short tutu skirt and matching lace corset, all in the same design language. My shoes were classic cream-colored Prada heels.
Our Advice
For The Planning Process
Work together as true partners through the process—when you plan together, the wedding feels like a genuine reflection of you as a couple.
For On The Day
Let everything else go. You’ve waited so long for this day, and no amount of stress is worth missing out on the joy. Savor every moment.
For Post-Wedding
Take a vacation! You’ll need it to decompress and absorb all the joy and emotion from the big day.
