Just as the world was catching its breath after the high-fashion extravaganza of the 2025 Met Gala, the spotlight swiftly shifted to the French Riviera, where the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival made its grand entrance. The festival officially kicked off last week with an opening ceremony held at the iconic Grand Théâtre Lumière, setting the stage for nearly two weeks of cinematic celebration. Running through May 24, the event features an all-star lineup with both rising talents and established names in the industry. A-listers such as Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, Pedro Pascal, Bella Hadid, and more hit the red carpet to show their support for the premieres of this year’s most anticipated films.
But Cannes is never just about cinema—it’s a style spectacle in its own right. This year, the festival's dress code underwent significant changes, banning "naked" dresses as well as any outfits deemed obstructive.
