Hollywood's biggest night this year was as much a fashion show as it was an awards ceremony. The 2025 Oscars red carpet was a stunning display of elegance, edge and effortless glamour, with A-listers stepping out in stunning couture. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party turned up the heat with even more high-fashion statements.
Emma Stone exuded timeless grace in a custom Louis Vuitton gown, while Selena Gomez went for old-school Hollywood glamour with a stunning custom Ralph Lauren gown. Demi Moore's look was definitely a highlight of the evening – a sculptural silver Giorgio Armani Privé look. Ariana Grande, with her Glinda energy, also made an ethereal entrance in a voluminous tulle skirt dress by Schiaparelli.
There were also those who dared to break away from neutrals, opting for vibrant colors that made a statement. For example, Anora star Mikey Madison turned heads in a pink and black Dior gown with an oversized bow. Others opted for bold, dramatic black, such as Lily-Rose Depp in Chanel and Miley Cyrus, with her rock star energy, in a bespoke McQueen. Margaret Qualley went full Bond-girl in a backless Chanel gown with a diamond necklace worn backwards.
The men of the night didn't shy away from bold fashion choices, with Andrew Garfield looking effortlessly cool in a trendy brown Gucci ensemble, Timothée Chalamet lighting up the red carpet in a butter-yellow Givenchy suit, and Sebastian Stan keeping it sleek in a Prada look.
The glamour continued at the Vanity Fair after-party, where Kendall Jenner stunned in vintage Mugler and Hunter Schafer exuded simple elegance in a beige silk 16Arlington gown. Kim Kardashian provided a dramatic moment in a white strapless Balenciaga gown, inspiring a trendy modern bride.
