In today's abundance of makeup tutorials, beauty hacks, and complex skin-boosting techs, keeping up with the latest and greatest in all things beauty can be overwhelming, difficult at best. With new product lines, celebrity collaborations and innovations seemingly launched every other day, it's easy to lose sight of what you can truly rely on while navigating through the plethora of beauty insiders' opinions and options. So, to help sift through all the noise, we strip it back to the basics and enlisted makeup artist Tanya Bures, founder of wedding beauty collective Page Beauty, to unpack the absolute must-have products every bride needs to incorporate into their wedding day makeup–no matter their style. From the hot off the shelves to the fail-safe classics, these are the essentials for dreamy, fresh, radiant and everlasting bridal makeup.
Smooth Serum
They key to glowing, long lasting makeup starts with a good serum as a base underneath your moisturizer. We love UZO Stem Cell Serum Complex, $110 for every skin type, Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops, $35 for brides who want a serious glow, and Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Smoothing Serum, $119 for brides who need an extra level of hydration and plumping.

Sunscreen Protection
Sunscreen is a must-do not only for every day, but especially leading up to the wedding to avoid tan lines that the wedding gown can’t hide. We love Supergoop! Glow Oil SPF 50, $40 for a nourishing non-greasy oil treatment, or EltaMD UV AOX Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 40, $45 with anti-oxidants for added skin benefits.

Waterproof Mascara
For all the tears of joy that will undoubtedly be shed on your wedding day, a good waterproof mascara is a must! Our all-time favorite that never waivers is L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Waterproof Mascara, $9. It’s the mattest, blackest black with big dramatic lash results. No back-up needed!

Silicone-Based Foundation
A silicone-based foundation ensures long-wearing coverage that hugs the skin closely, avoids separation and looks like you’re not wearing foundation at all. Our favorites are Face Atelier Ultra Foundation, $58 and Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, $45, each with a good variety of shades to perfectly match your skintone.

Setting Spray
A great finishing or setting spray to lock in your makeup look for all day wear is imperative. For security, I layer a fine mist primer spray after applying all of my cream and liquid products, the best is Skindinavia Oil Control Primer Spray, $35. Following I'll apply powder products and once the entire look is finished, I’ll do a quick mist of setting spray for a final set. The absolute must-haves to lock in your beautiful makeup are either Skindinavia Finishing Spray Bridal Formula, $35 or One/Size On Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray, $35 depending on the finish you desire.

Hydration
The final must-have for every bride that I can't emphasize more is water! Drink at least 2.5 liters of water every day beginning the week of your wedding, and most importantly the day before your wedding. Not only will plenty of water hydrate your body, it will also improve your skin tone and texture, reduce puffiness, revive elasticity, and prime your skin for makeup.
