Euro summer is officially here, and with it comes designer takeovers at the beach and pool clubs of some of Europe's most coveted seaside hotels. A few summers ago, there were only one or two of these collaborations across the Mediterranean. Now, they've become an expected part of the season. Suddenly, the loungers are wrapped in designer prints, towels are embroidered with familiar logos, and even the Aperol Spritz comes in a branded cup you'll want to take home.
As if we needed another reason to book the hotel, these collaborations have become part of the appeal. Somewhere between the beach club and the boutique, they've become the kind of places you'll want to spend the afternoon and, of course, photograph while you're there. So, if you're heading to Europe this summer (and hopefully spending plenty of time by the sea to cool off from the record-breaking heat), these are the designer beach and pool club pop-ups worth adding to your itinerary.
Jacquemus at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum
At this point, it almost wouldn't feel like Euro summer without a Jacquemus beach club. This season, the French label has arrived at Blue Beach Club & Bar at the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum, covering Paradise Bay in the brand's unmistakable black-and-white stripes. The minimal aesthetic carries through everything, right down to branded backgammon boards and paddle racquets. Which, if Jacquemus ever decides to put them online, we'll be adding to cart immediately. And if you're not making it to Bodrum this summer but still want your Jacquemus fix, you're in luck. This isn't the brand's only seaside collaboration on this year's list, but for that, you'll have to keep reading.
Burberry at Hôtel Belles Rives, Antibes
Burberry has had a major resurgence over the past year, and it's easy to see why. There's something refreshing about seeing the brand embrace its heritage again instead of chasing the next trend. That same appreciation for history is what makes Hôtel Belles Rives such a fitting partner. Both have stood the test of time, so rather than reinventing either identity, Burberry reimagined its signature check in the hotel's distinctive navy blue, wrapping the celebrated waterfront beach club in a version of the print that feels right at home against the Riviera's storied backdrop. From branded towels to custom popsicles and even the private jetty, nearly every corner has been given the house's signature touch. The takeover runs through the end of September, giving you plenty of time to check it off your Euro summer itinerary.
Gucci at La Rose des Vents, Monte Carlo
Some designer prints never really leave the conversation, and Gucci's Flora is one of them. This summer, the house has brought the iconic motif to another icon: La Rose des Vents on Monte Carlo's Larvotto Beach. Loungers, parasols, towels, and tableware have all been dressed in the colorful botanical print, creating a beach club that feels unmistakably Gucci. The setting is more than just a pretty backdrop, though. Flora was originally created for Princess Grace of Monaco more than sixty years ago, making this a collab that feels genuinely rooted in its destination. Alongside the takeover, Gucci has also released an exclusive capsule available only in Monte Carlo, giving visitors one more reason to stop by before heading back to the beach.
Missoni at OKU Ibiza, Spain
Some brands feel tied to a season, and for Missoni, that season has always been summer. Somewhere between its signature knit cover-ups and unmistakable zigzag pattern, the Italian house has become shorthand for a holiday wardrobe. Its latest takeover at OKU Ibiza feels like a continuation of that story, dressing the hotel's expansive pool with turquoise, emerald, and deep blue stripes that pop against the property's warm wood and minimalist stone architecture. Home to one of the largest pools on the island, OKU provides the perfect canvas for Missoni's unmistakable prints, making it hard to imagine the space any other way.
Loewe Perfumes at Dunas de Formentera, Formentera
Not every summer takeover is about a new print. Loewe Perfumes takes a different approach. This summer, the brand has transformed Dunas de Formentera, the boutique hotel tucked into the dunes of Migjorn Beach, with an immersive takeover centered around scent rather than signature prints. The hotel's minimalist architecture makes the perfect backdrop for Loewe's fresh pistachio fragrance, while subtle touches of the brand's signature green make the whole space feel unmistakably summer. It's one of the more understated collaborations on this list, but also one of the most memorable.
Casablanca at Six Senses Ibiza, Ibiza
Casablanca may be one of the newer designer names on this list, but its world of luxury leisure feels especially at home at Six Senses Ibiza. Founded by French-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer, the brand has transformed the hotel's wellness-focused beach club with faded shades of blue, yellow, and pink layered into geometric prints that somehow feel made for the island. Tajer even curated the soundtrack playing throughout the takeover, making the collaboration feel less like a branded installation and more like stepping into Casablanca's version of an Ibiza summer.
Jacquemus at Monte-Carlo Beach, Monaco
We told you Jacquemus wasn't finished. The French label returns this summer with a second collaboration, this time at the legendary Monte-Carlo Beach, where the Olympic-sized pool and iconic pier have been drawing visitors since the 1920s. Trading last year's butter yellow for pistachio green, coconut white, soft blue, and black stripes, this season's takeover feels like a fresh take on one of the Riviera's most recognizable beach clubs. Inside the hotel's two Jacquemus boutiques, exclusive Jacquemus x Monte-Carlo Beach pieces sit alongside artwork and drawings inspired by Matisse and Renoir, artists Simon Porte Jacquemus has referenced throughout his collections for years.
Dior at Il Riccio Beach Club, Capri
Dior was one of the first fashion houses to make designer beach clubs feel like a summer tradition, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. This year's Dioriviera pop-up returns to Il Riccio Beach Club in Capri, where the house's signature Toile de Jouy once again takes over the iconic cliffside destination overlooking the Mediterranean. Soft shades of pink and blue wrap the loungers, restaurant, and terraces, making one of Capri's most recognizable beach clubs feel even more quintessentially summer.
