The unfolding of the hidden architecture of bridal, where craftsmanship, emotion and form entwine in quiet conversation

A love letter to creation itself, WED's 2026 Bridal collection is an exploration of how emotion can be bound to fabric, form, and the human hand. Taking cues from sculptor Tony Cragg’s studies on the relationships between people and materials, the collection examines intimacy through craftsmanship. Graphic lines trace the body’s contours, sheer panelling reveal glimpses of skin, sculpted drapery collide with structural corsetry, while delicate interiors are exposed, revealing the hidden architecture of each dress. Crafted from heavy satins and featherlight tulles, sheer layers flirt with structure, and crinoline hems erupt into blooming ribbon flowers. Each piece holds both precision and sentiment — a tension between control and surrender that defines WED’s evolving language of modern romanticism.
