Hidden away in sunny Mallorca, Marta and Jorge turned their wedding day into an unforgettable celebration of love, artistry and thoughtful design. It was an immersive experience where minimalism met Mediterranean soul and every detail had a story to tell. Under the venue's golden light, terracotta met raw stone and delicate glass met draped textures. Even the long reception tables became collaborative art spaces, with wax crayons laid out for guests to draw onto the tablecloths – a playful nod to creativity that engaged all the senses. Every design element was intentional and every moment felt like a love letter to the couple’s journey: curated yet spontaneous, intimate yet expansive.
Our Love Story
The Day We Met
We met seven years ago at a mutual friend's party—in the kitchen (where the best things happen). There was an instant spark that we both remember, but it took a few months before we met again, and then... forever.
The Proposal
I suspected it might happen on a trip we had planned, but no—it happened at home, long before the trip, on a weekday like any other, right after we woke up—the last thing I expected! It was very special because it’s in that everyday routine that our greatest connection was born. Jorge had written a story, and after reading it, he gave me a vintage Chevalier ring he’d chosen, which was the theme of the story. I said yes, and we spent the whole morning on cloud nine.
The Engagement Ring
It was a vintage Chevalier ring.
Our Wedding
The Location
I've lived in Mallorca for a long time and have a special connection with the Balearic Islands. That’s why we decided to celebrate this big day on the island. When we saw the quarry, we knew we didn’t need to look any further—there it was, our perfect place to get married.
The Vision
Our greatest inspiration was the quarry itself—its materials, the idea of construction and process—mirroring the construction of a relationship. We managed to capture what represents us on this day: enjoying a unique place, tasting local products with the finest preparations, and sharing with our guests all the love we have for each other and have poured into this process.
Our Team of Vendors
Everything was possible thanks to Clara Brunet, our wedding planner, and the amazing Ca Na Toneta team, led by María Solivellas.
The Ceremony
Our ceremony was very simple and intimate. I waited for Marta while singing her a song that is special for both of us.
We chose six friends, each of whom spoke about a topic important to us—friendship, passion, family, and the importance of sharing everything. They, along with another friend who acted as the master of ceremonies, guided the entire event.
The Reception
For us, everything related to art and creativity is very important, so we added wax crayons for drawing on the tablecloths.
María Solivellas from Ca Na Toneta prepared a special menu based on local produce, seeking to convey the essence of the islands with dishes that were key both in terms of gastronomy and presentation.
The Special Touches
I didn’t want to carry a traditional flower bouquet. One afternoon with my best friend Mar, it occurred to us that it could be made of blown glass—designed by her. She handed it to me on the wedding day, just as I entered the ceremony, creating a special moment for both of us that we will never forget.
We sang during the cocktail as a surprise for our friends, projected cinematic images during dinner, and Marta opened the party with a DJ set.
Our Favorite Moment
For us, the ceremony was magical. Life is meant to be celebrated! We believe that living only makes sense if it's shared, and it’s a blessing that we found each other—that’s worth celebrating.
Sharing it with all our friends and family was indescribable. We managed to capture everything we are on this day: enjoying a unique location, tasting local products with the finest preparations, and transmitting to our guests all the love we have for each other and have put into this process.
Our Style
The Bridal Looks
My dress was from the Marta Martí collection 'My Universe', personalized and deconstructed as the evening went on. We had an instant connection from day one. I decided immediately—maybe too quickly—but I felt right away that I was 100% a Marta Martí bride.
The Groom’s Look
The groom’s suit was a custom-made linen suit with a double-breasted jacket and a linen shirt with a reinforced bib. Old Jeffrey crafted the suit with special care and attention, respecting my style and enhancing it with the double-breasted jacket and thoughtful details.
Our Guests' Looks
We didn’t have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen, but we asked everyone to dress in a pastel color palette.
Our Advice
For the Planning Process
Take your time—every minute spent planning equals a minute of joy on the wedding day.
For On The Day
Celebrate for several days, because one day is not enough! It goes by too fast.
For Post-Wedding
Just remember the great times—don’t dwell on what could have been different.
