The concept behind this beautiful editorial shoot by THE WED member Lou Lou Memphis was to showcase some of Australia's most unique wedding designers by capturing them set amongst rural landscapes, wild seas, black rocks and wind. No glitz. No glamor. Instead, the team decided to focus on raw elements and textures to create a truly authentic Australian editorial.
For the setting, Lou Lou Memphis chose a charming beach shack on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, as well as the picturesque cliffs at Flinders Blow Hole. To make their vision a reality, the team worked closely with their favorite local vendors and designers. By dressing their bride in a range of different fabrics and pairing the ensemble with statement accessories, Lou Lou Memphis hopes to encourage modern brides to think outside the usual wedding styling and explore unconventional ideas.
