The final wedding ceremony took place last week in Mumbai. All the wedding arrangements were organized by the groom's mother, Nita Ambani, along with her daughter Isha Ambani and daughter-in-law Shloka Ambani. The preparations were truly intensive, with several teams of planners and organizers working simultaneously and staff on duty round the clock. The Mumbai wedding can be described in one word – luxury. It began on the 5th of July with a pre-wedding event where the bride was adorned in a crystal gown by the famous Indian brand Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, and the groom was keeping up with her – his outfit was studded with rubies and diamonds.
The air was filled with an atmosphere of joy, luxury and unconditional celebration as the couple danced and entertained to the fullest, enjoying the company of famous guests. The highlight feature of the décor was the stunning floral arrangements – animal sculptures and garlands made from over a thousand buds of fresh flowers. The Hindu wedding ceremony began with a traditional jaimala ceremony, where the bride and groom exchange garlands to symbolize their mutual acceptance of one another. The parents blessing the couple, emphasizing the importance of this union, was also a part of a traditional procession. This was followed by the actual wedding ceremony, where the bride and groom went round a ritual fire, symbolizing their loyalty and love to each other.
