Brazilian Model & Influencer Elisa Zarzur’s Romantic Paris Wedding in Dior Couture

| By Xenia Lar
Three iconic Paris venues, Dior Haute Couture & a wedding weekend designed as a dream

Paris became the backdrop for a wedding weekend where history, fashion, and celebration came together in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Influencer Elisa Zarzur and Alexandre Negrão created an experience that moved between three unforgettable settings: the whimsical world of the Musée des Arts Forains, the grandeur of Église de la Madeleine, and the timeless elegance of Château de Ferrières. Each space had its own personality, brought to life through thoughtful design, immersive details, and an atmosphere that balanced classic French sophistication with a sense of pure joy.

From candlelit ceremonies and ballroom florals inspired by the château’s colors to a couture wardrobe that transformed throughout the evening, every element felt personal and intentional. Elisa’s Dior Haute Couture gown, with its sculptural silhouette, Chantilly lace, and dramatic after-party transformation, captured the effortless romance at the heart of the celebration. Blending old-world Parisian charm with a festive Brazilian spirit, the weekend was a reflection of the couple themselves: elegant, emotional, and filled with moments designed to be remembered. Every detail was beautifully captured by our member, wedding photographer Ale Bigliazzi, whose imagery brings the atmosphere, emotion, and artistry of the celebration to life.

Our Welcome Party

Location

Our welcome party was held at the Musée des Arts Forains, an old fairground museum tucked away in Paris. It's filled with antique carousels and vintage carnival games, and it feels magical and a little surreal. There is nowhere else like it.

Décor and Ambiance

The entire evening centered around a Midnight in Paris-inspired 1920s theme—decadent and theatrical, with a touch of burlesque. The venue did half the work; it already feels like stepping into another era. I wanted everyone to feel as though they had stepped into a dream the night before the wedding.

Our Style

I wore "La Mariée," the final look from Le Naufrage by Ludovic de Saint Sernin for Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture. It was covered in feathers and felt very showgirl, paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Alexandre wore made-to-measure Tom Ford. Everyone fully embraced the 1920s theme, which made the night come alive. I love how festive it felt compared to the classic ceremony the following day.

Our Love Story

The Day We Met

Honestly, I almost didn’t give him a chance. We met at a party, but I wasn’t really looking for anything at the time. Alexandre was the persistent one. He introduced himself to my parents before he had even won me over, sent a big bouquet, and came along on a completely random errand with me. Somewhere along the way, without me even noticing, my no turned into a yes.

The Proposal

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t like surprises, so the fact that he managed to hide the entire engagement from me was impressive. We went on a trip, and he carried the ring the whole time, just waiting for the right moment. Then, one normal day, he came up behind me, held me, and asked me to spend my life with him. I completely froze, and then he opened the box. There was no audience, just the two of us, which was exactly right for us.

The Engagement Ring

I always wanted an oval diamond, mostly because my fingers are quite long. We had gone to look at diamonds in New York once, and I truly thought we were just looking. He was actually buying one that day. He took the diamond back to Brazil and had the band designed there—a personalized gold setting—and then waited about six months before he asked. So the ring did a lot of traveling before it ever reached my finger.

Our Wedding

The Vision

We didn’t want a wedding that looked like everyone else’s. What I love most is the mix of classic and festive, so we built the entire weekend around that. Three places, three different feelings, all in Paris.

Our Team of Vendors

I cannot take credit for any of this alone. Alejandra Poupel and Toda de Branco led the planning and design, Rita Lazzarotti shaped every look, and Kahina Events created the flowers. And that’s only naming a few—there was an entire team behind it. So many people were part of every detail, and I am so grateful to all of them.

The Location

We had three places, and each one felt like its own world. The welcome party was at the Musée des Arts Forains, an old fairground museum filled with antique carousels. The ceremony was at the Église de la Madeleine, a grand neoclassical church that still feels intimate inside. And the celebration was at Château de Ferrières, which was built for Baron James de Rothschild and was once one of the most glamorous houses in Europe. Adding our own night to a place with that much history felt unreal.

The Ceremony

Walking into La Madeleine is something I will never forget. It was filled with candles and white flowers, and even though the church is so grand, it still felt close and personal. What moved me most was something simple: our families were right there with us, and my dad held me tightly as he walked me down the aisle. I wore Dior Haute Couture—my dream—and for those minutes, nothing else existed.

The Cocktail Hour

We had cocktails outside on the château grounds, and it felt like a fairytale. I love that quiet hour before the night truly begins, when everyone is finding each other and taking in the moment. It is one of my favorite parts of the entire day.

The Reception

Dinner was inside Château de Ferrières. We did a French service with kitchen stations throughout the rooms, and we had lobster because food was never just a detail for us. We couldn’t choose one dessert, so we created an entire buffet. There was live music, followed by DJs—two of them from Brazil—and, of course, classic Brazilian energy. The night went very late; I think I was on my feet for 14 hours.

The Special Touches

The flowers were designed to match the colors of each ballroom: the red room, the white room, and the blue room. My Dior dress transformed throughout the night, with the skirt coming off for the party. And for our first dance, outside in the stillness of the night, there were fireworks over the château. It was simply unreal. The touches I hold closest are the personal ones. I wore my grandmother’s rosary throughout the ceremony and reception. She is the matriarch of our family and someone I feel deeply connected to, and she could not be with us that day, so having it with me kept her close. Alexandre secretly had my initials embroidered inside his suit. Dior also created a custom mannequin for my dress and gifted it to me, so I now have my own mannequin with my initials embroidered on it too. Every detail was meant to feel intentional.

Our Favorite Moment

My favorite moment was the hour after the church, on the way to the reception. It was just the two of us, and we finally had time to breathe and take it all in together. Alexandre told me to breathe and imagine that I was photographing the moment in my mind, so I would remember it forever. I still do.

Our Style

The Bridal Looks

For the ceremony, I wore Dior Haute Couture. The top of the dress lifts away from the body like a petal, crafted in French Chantilly lace with an open back, and it took more than 640 hours to create. For the party, the skirt came off and revealed the embroidered bodysuit, so the look transformed with the night. For hair and makeup, I wanted something classic that I would still love in twenty years, but with my own touch. The hair was shaped softly like a flower to complement the dress.

The Groom Looks

Alexandre wore a bespoke suit by BRNC, by Bruno Colella in Brazil, and it has a real story behind it. Bruno looked back to late 18th-century menswear—a style from before black tie even existed. He built it from his own archive and from books he inherited from his grandfather. It was timeless, completely handmade, and very much Alexandre: simple and elegant.

Our Advice

For the Planning Process

Find people you truly trust, and then let them do their work. Stay close to what feels like you, even after the hundredth fitting. And lean on your family. Mine kept me grounded throughout the entire process.

For On The Day

Be present. The day goes by so quickly, so let go of the small things and just live it. Pause to look around and take it all in.

For Post-Wedding

Rest first, before anything else. We did our honeymoon in two parts: Sardinia right after the wedding, and a longer trip, just the two of us, a little later. Let the afterglow last!
