How did the idea of starting your full-service wedding studio come about?
Like most things in life, one thing led to another. Initially, I began by focusing on the creative side, designing visually stunning elements as a wedding designer. Gradually, this evolved into creating more complete experiences and offering full services for couples. I was always driven to go above and beyond, and I wanted to connect more deeply with the entire experience of each event. In the end, the idea of offering full-service planning happened organically and made a lot of sense, as it allowed me to ensure everything was cohesive, with a guiding theme to make the experience well-curated and carefully crafted.
Can you tell us a bit about your approach and style when it comes to planning weddings?
My inspiration usually comes from a trend or idea in my mind, often influenced by the latest places I’ve visited or things I’ve appreciated recently. My creative process involves connecting these inspirations with the couple’s needs and the venue itself, which is also a great source of inspiration. In all my designs, I place a lot of emphasis on the space; I especially love working in new, challenging locations where I can build something unique from scratch that I know will only exist for a moment. That aspect excites me.

With a background in interior design, how has this experience influenced your creative vision?
My background in interior design has had an incredible impact, as it has given me a keen eye for perfectionism and an aesthetic sensibility when it comes to placing objects, furniture, and textures. Interior design is a more intimate and detailed process, so it’s taught me to play with different spaces. Bringing that experience into the event world makes it even more exciting and dynamic, allowing me to create environments that feel as if they naturally belong to the space, whether it’s a blank canvas, like a location in the middle of nature, or a venue with a defined aesthetic.
What do you enjoy most about planning weddings?
What I enjoy most about planning weddings is the chance to create something unique each time, both in terms of the experience and the aesthetics. This is definitely my favorite part of the planning process, as well as the element of surprise for the couple. I love that, usually, they don’t have a complete idea of the final result and that they trust my vision so fully. This often leads to results that far exceed their expectations. Seeing the space transform in a matter of days is exhilarating for me, and it always fills me with emotion to see the couple’s smiles or even tears of joy as they see their dream come to life.

What is your first meeting with couples like? How do you determine whether your visions and working styles align?
I love it when the first connection with couples is in person, but even if it’s remote, I enjoy getting to know them, learning what they like, and understanding their style. To achieve the kind of results I’m known for, it’s essential not just to design for design’s sake, but to connect with their essence as a couple. I want to know what kind of luxury they value, their priorities, how they dress, their daily activities, and the lifestyle they lead. All of this makes a huge difference in planning a wedding that truly reflects who they are.
So, for me, it’s crucial that we’re energetically aligned. When a couple reaches out to us, they usually have a clear sense of the type of events we create. In our initial conversation, we explore what they like, the direction they’re thinking for their wedding, whether they want something more adventurous or something more traditional. At that point, I begin aligning my own tastes with theirs as well.
It’s really fun because each couple brings ideas that I may have had in mind already, which allows me to express them in a unique way that’s tailored just for them.
How do you ensure each wedding is unique and perfectly tailored to your clients’ tastes?
Honestly, when clients give me the freedom to do what I love, that’s when I can make weddings truly unique and non-repetitive. I love creating something entirely new that’s just for them. I start with ideas and concepts that are already in my mind, adapting them to the ideas and tastes the couple shares with me. With every word or inspiration they give me, it aligns with the creative side I carry within.

In your opinion, what makes Mexico a fantastic place to get married? What type of couples should consider this dream destination?
Mexico is an incredible place to get married because of its rich culture and the vast array of experiences it offers. Here, couples can live an experience that’s completely different from their everyday lives, in spaces filled with history and charm. Our luxury, along with the personalized attention we provide, is something that both couples and their guests truly appreciate. Mexico is ideal for adventurous couples who want to convey luxury, unique experiences, and a deep connection to the local culture.
What’s the most challenging part of planning a wedding?
The most challenging part, ironically, is what I enjoy most: tackling challenges like producing events in remote locations, building from scratch, and making everything feel authentic. I also make sure that all vendors meet the high standards of service that we aim to provide.

Looking back on the 2024 wedding season, what moments or trends really caught your attention?
Looking back, the wedding trend this year leaned a bit toward the classic. I was struck by the simplicity and elegance of things, with a hint of retro minimalism. I also appreciated that the boho style, which was becoming overdone, has finally taken a back seat.
Lastly, what are your hopes and expectations for the wedding industry in 2025?
For 2025, I hope to see the wedding industry move towards even more complete and adventurous experiences alongside couples. I’m excited to explore new locations, designs, and styles. Above all, I’m thrilled by the idea of each project becoming a unique adventure, working with clients who align with this vision and the evolution of what we’re doing today.
