The Chicest Real Weddings of 2026 So Far

| By Xenia Lar
A portrait of modern love through destination, design, and style

Weddings in 2026 are taking individuality to new heights — with couples turning celebrations into immersive expressions of style, culture, and personal storytelling. From Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s unforgettable Sicilian celebration to fashion-forward weddings in some of the world’s most captivating destinations, this year has already delivered a wealth of inspiration. Across continents, couples are embracing unexpected settings, highly curated design, statement-making fashion, and details that feel collected rather than conventional. Fashion icons, influencers, and tastemakers have also brought a distinctly editorial energy to the aisle, with custom couture, multiple looks, and unforgettable style moments making weddings feel as much at home on the runway as they do in the pages of a love story. Here, we round up our favorite real weddings of 2026 so far — a collection of unforgettable destinations, visionary design, exceptional fashion, and love stories that refuse to follow the expected.

This Modern Wedding at Neuendorf House
Was a Masterclass in Immersive Design

Some weddings are remembered for a single beautiful detail, but this one stays with you as an entire visual world. At Neuendorf House, monumental blush-toned architecture became the backdrop for a celebration built around colour, texture, and unexpected scale. Designed by THE WED members Open the Door Events and captured through the lens of Joy Zamora, the wedding transformed the iconic setting into a dreamlike composition of sculptural florals, layered fabrics, and immersive details. A soft butter-yellow aisle led into a ceremony framed by striking yellow floral installations and delicate white chairs, creating a scene that felt at once playful and remarkably polished. The palette continued into the reception, where pale cream linens and soft pink accents were layered with vibrant arrangements before candlelight completely transformed the atmosphere after dark. It was bold without being chaotic, surreal without losing its sense of elegance — precisely the kind of wedding imagery we found ourselves returning to again and again.

Cinematic, Color-Washed Wedding at Amanzoe
Was All About Quiet Drama

Perched above the Peloponnese coastline, Amanzoe provided Sabrina and Magnus with a setting that needed very little embellishment — and their celebration understood that instinctively. The wedding leaned into the architecture and landscape rather than competing with them, pairing soft pink sculptural florals with natural textures and long candlelit tables overlooking the water. At the ceremony, a custom-built aisle stretched dramatically across the pool, creating a breathtaking visual axis toward the horizon as Sabrina appeared in a custom Kim Kassas gown, complete with a dramatic corset and sweeping tulle train. Yet for all its cinematic moments, the weekend never felt overly staged. Guests moved between lavender-scented gardens, caviar and champagne, and the beach club as the light changed, allowing the celebration to unfold with an easy sense of intimacy. From its restrained palette to its final plunge into the sea, this was a wedding that understood the difference between creating spectacle and creating atmosphere.

Dua Lipa & Callum Turner’s Sicilian Wedding
Was a Love Story Told Through Bridal Fashion

It would be difficult to make a list of this year’s most memorable weddings without Dua Lipa and Callum Turner. Their celebration unfolded in chapters, beginning with a civil ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall before moving to Sicily for an Italian celebration and a sun-soaked post-wedding escape. But if there was one through-line connecting it all, it was pop star's extraordinary approach to bridal dressing. Her Schiaparelli two-piece for the registry office, complete with hat and gloves, offered a knowing nod to Bianca Jagger, while a white leather Bottega Veneta look and sheer custom Chloé design kept the fashion narrative moving in Italy. Then came the main event: a feather- and crystal-embellished Chanel haute couture gown with an intricate low back, feathered headpiece, and embroidered veil. Romantic, dramatic and unmistakably hers, the look captured exactly why celebrity wedding wardrobes have become such a defining part of the modern bridal conversation.

Gabbriette & Matty Healy’s Gothic Wedding
Was Beautifully Imperfect

Gabbriette and Matty Healy’s wedding offered a compelling reminder that romance does not have to arrive polished, pristine, or traditionally pretty. Held at Castillo del Lago, the storied Hollywood Hills estate once owned by Madonna, the celebration embraced a darker visual language that felt entirely aligned with the couple. The photographs are intentionally grainy and atmospheric, capturing fleeting gestures rather than smoothing them into conventional wedding perfection: a veil caught in motion, an embrace in the shadows, a kiss, a cigarette, a quiet moment stretched out across the grass. Gabbriette’s wardrobe became another part of this visual storytelling with her distressed custom Matières Fécales ceremony gown. Nothing feels overly polished, and that is precisely the point.

Wildly Romantic South African Safari Wedding
Was Designed as an Experience

For Lexi and Stefano, the wedding was never simply a day on the calendar. Their celebration unfolded as a journey through South Africa, beginning with rooftop festivities overlooking Cape Town before leading family and friends into an extraordinary safari weekend. The setting shaped everything: guests arrived by safari vehicle, gathered beneath enormous African skies for candlelit dinners and choir performances, and spent their days moving between game drives, long-table meals and moments of unexpected wonder. Earthy tones, wild florals and flowing drapery softened the surroundings without ever attempting to tame them, allowing the landscape to remain an essential part of the story. Under the guidance of wedding planner Marianna Idirin, the couple's vision came to life with remarkable sensitivity and precision, while Les Vaques documented it all with the cinematic eye that transformed fleeting moments into lasting memories.

Influencer Jade Mitchell-Clyde’s California Wedding
Was a Love Letter to Family and Place

There are weddings designed around a visual concept, and then there are weddings where the design emerges naturally from the story of the couple. For Jade Mitchell-Clyde and Niko Cueva, the latter was unmistakably true, with family private estate in Sonora, California, providing both the setting and emotional foundation for the celebration. Towering oaks, winding creeks, lush greenery and abundant white lilies created an atmosphere that felt deeply rooted in the landscape rather than imposed upon it. At the ceremony, the couple stood at the centre of a circular arrangement surrounded by their closest people, before guests followed the property toward a reception where curved tables traced the natural path of the creek. Jade’s bridal wardrobe carried the same sense of thoughtful contrast, pairing a Cinq gown and Maison Margiela Tabi ballet heels with a hand-beaded, vintage-inspired reception dress.

Elisa Zarzur’s Paris Wedding Blended Dior Couture
With the Joy of a Brazilian Celebration

Paris has no shortage of grand wedding settings, but Elisa Zarzur and Alexandre Negrão managed to make the city feel entirely their own. Their wedding weekend moved between the whimsical Musée des Arts Forains, the grandeur of Église de la Madeleine and the timeless elegance of Château de Ferrières, with each location introducing a new mood to the celebration. Candlelit ceremonies, ballroom florals inspired by the château’s palette and an evolving couture wardrobe created a visual thread between the historic surroundings and the couple’s unmistakably contemporary energy. Zarzur’s Dior Haute Couture gown brought sculptural drama to the occasion, with Chantilly lace and a later transformation adding another chapter to the fashion story. Every detail was beautifully captured by our members, wedding photographer Ale Bigliazzi, and content creator LUXWEDD, whose imagery and videos bring the atmosphere, emotion, and artistry of the celebration to life.

Giant Sculptural Florals Met Ancient Stone
at This Dreamy Menorca Wedding

In Menorca, Cris and Julien did something particularly clever: they allowed the setting to dictate the mood. Choosing Lithica, a dramatic stone quarry carved into the island itself, the couple built their wedding around monumental rock, changing light and the raw beauty of the landscape rather than trying to soften it into something more traditionally bridal. The styling responded with restraint, introducing soft florals, candlelight, natural fabrics and a neutral palette that brought warmth to the stone without competing with its scale. That balance made the larger moments — from the cinematic entrance to flamenco during dinner — feel all the more impactful. It was a particularly beautiful example of how the most memorable wedding design can come from listening carefully to a place rather than attempting to transform it. Photographed by Días de Vino y Rosas and creatively directed and planned by Limbela — both members of THE WED — the celebration was sophisticated without feeling staged, dramatic without losing its intimacy, and unmistakably theirs.

Finneas O’Connell & Claudia Sulewski’s
California Wedding Found Romance in the Garden

After eight years together, Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski celebrated their marriage with an intimate wedding at San Ysidro Ranch in California, surrounded by family and friends. The outdoor ceremony had the feeling of a garden that had simply grown into a wedding, with a winding aisle framed by loose, meadow-like florals in white, soft blue and touches of yellow. Adding an especially personal note, Finneas’s sister Billie Eilish officiated the ceremony. Sulewski arrived in a custom Oscar de la Renta ivory silk faille ballgown, its fitted drop-waist bodice and dramatically pleated skirt giving the classic silhouette a distinctly modern shape, finished with an asymmetrical scarf flowing into the train. Her bridal wardrobe continued throughout the celebrations with additional custom Oscar de la Renta looks, while even the couple’s rescue dogs, Peaches and Moose, joined the fashion moment in matching silk-faille bows.

Brigette Pheloung’s Wedding Paired Old Hollywood Glamour With a Garden-Inspired Romance

For Acquired Style founder Brigette Pheloung, the Newport wedding to Mitch McHale was both a celebration and the latest chapter in a love story nearly nine years in the making. After legally marrying in June, the couple returned to the aisle surrounded by friends and family, this time against a sweeping waterfront backdrop. White roses, hydrangeas and abundant greenery spilled from the ceremony arch, while clouds of blooms continued along the aisle, giving the coastal setting the atmosphere of an open-air garden. Pheloung’s Vera Wang gown echoed that floral language in a more sculptural form, with oversized fabric roses blooming across its drop-waist silhouette and continuing down the train. Soft glamour, Old Hollywood-inspired waves and delicate diamond jewellery completed the look, while McHale’s classic black tuxedo allowed the bride’s dramatic gown to take centre stage.

Theresa von Fürstenberg’s Wedding Proved
Archival Couture Can Feel Entirely Modern

Theresa von Fürstenberg’s wedding wardrobe offered a different kind of fashion statement: rather than chasing novelty, it looked to the past and brought it firmly into the present. For her wedding to filmmaker Gustav von Fürstenberg in Brazil, the actress embraced Givenchy across two looks that moved from ceremony drama to after-party ease. The wardrobe drew on the house’s sculptural elegance and romantic codes, while an archival Audrey Hepburn reference introduced a sense of fashion history without making the looks feel costume-like. The setting only heightened that cinematic quality, with the religious ceremony taking place at Nossa Senhora do Rosário e São Benedito Church in Paraty before the celebration continued at Praia do Frade in Angra dos Reis. Together, the fashion and locations created a wedding narrative rooted in glamour but interpreted through a distinctly contemporary lens.

A Chrome & Chartreuse Black-Tie Wedding
in the Southern Highlands

Jen and Leo’s celebration in the Southern Highlands was a study in what happens when a familiar venue is given an entirely new visual language. Working alongside THE WED members from Reinevoi, the couple moved away from the region’s expected rustic character and into an immersive black-tie world of chartreuse, champagne, sculptural florals and custom fabric installations. The design rewarded exploration, with personal details and bespoke keepsakes appearing throughout the spaces before guests arrived at a handcrafted U-shaped reception table that became the natural centre of the evening. What made the celebration especially compelling, however, was the way its European-inspired elegance existed alongside Macedonian and South American traditions, allowing the styling to feel layered rather than prescriptive. With live music and carefully considered details adding emotional depth to the visual spectacle, this was a wedding that showed just how far a classic black-tie format can be pushed.

Cinq Co-Owner’s English Countryside Wedding
Was a Seven-Look Love Letter to Family & Fashion

For Madelyn Paige Hunt, the wedding wardrobe was never going to be an afterthought. The bride, co-owner of Cinq alongside her sister Macye, wore seven bespoke looks throughout her English countryside celebration, each one shaped by the sisters’ shared appreciation for French antique lace, silk, and quietly romantic design. The main ceremony took place on the banks of a lake below Sibton Manor, where Madelyn arrived by horse-drawn carriage — a fittingly cinematic entrance for a celebration so rooted in the countryside. She walked down the aisle in the Madelyn gown by Cinq, while a delicate crown of dried baby’s breath added an almost storybook quality to the look. After the ceremony, she took a carriage ride around the manor grounds as guests made their way toward cocktail hour, before the reception unfolded around tables dressed in Cinq’s signature dusty-blue taffeta.

Sofia Alva & Dan Haddad’s Lucid Dreaming-Inspired
Wedding Outside Mexico City

Some wedding venues provide a backdrop, El Nido de Quetzalcóatl became part of the celebration itself. For Sofia Alva and Dan Haddad, who had already exchanged vows at Burning Man, their Mexico City wedding weekend offered an opportunity to bring friends and family into a world inspired by lucid dreaming, self-expression, and surrealist architecture. Set within the extraordinary work of Mexican architect Javier Senosiain, the celebration unfolded through a series of dreamlike environments, beginning with a colorful psychedelic greenhouse before moving to a grass-covered natural amphitheater and a garden centered around a mosaic serpent. Even the progression of the day felt deliberately unexpected, with lunch hidden away in a garden before the party transformed into a vibrant dancefloor.

Istanbul Wedding Turned a Historic
Transport Museum Into a Turkish Bazaar

Jasmine and Sam’s Istanbul wedding began with a little mystery. Guests boarded private boats without knowing their final destination, spending the journey guessing where they were headed before arriving to the sounds of Turkish musicians and custom-themed cocktails. The surprise continued at a historic transport museum, which had been completely transformed into an immersive Turkish bazaar, with deep red sculptural ceremony seating, tonal poufs, and florals designed around a richly cohesive palette. Elsewhere, soft baby-blue fabric and flowing drapery introduced a lighter, dreamier note. Rain arrived during the celebration, but by dinner the skies had cleared enough to reveal a double rainbow — an almost impossibly cinematic finale to a wedding already filled with theatrical surprises.
